Schneider Food Box

This program was started in honor of James "Jim" Henry Schneider and his wish for everyone to have good, healthy and affordable food. With the current quality of life crisis and many other stressful, dangerous and concerning events it is important that we all have enough to eat.

The Schneider Food Box offers two sizes of food box Bi-weekly; Small and Large. The small box costs $20 has between 15-25 pounds of produce and the large box costs $30 has between 25-35 pounds of produce.

Food Box Items

Here are some lists of the most common fruits and vegetables you'll find in your food box.

Most common fruits: apples, bananas, oranges, tomatoes, lemons (or) limes and grapes.

Most common vegetables: onions, carrots, celery, bell peppers, potatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, green onions

Most common herbs: curled parsley, cilantro and garlic. 

Additional fruits and vegetables are included but they are subject to cost and seasonal changes.

All fruits and vegetables including those listed above are all subject to change due to seasonal changes, supply issues, quality issues and/or recalls.

Cleaning

Life and Cleaning Aid Program

This program was created to help increase the quality of life for seniors and people with disabilities, still giving them independence they want and deserve. The program focus on cleaning the more difficult areas for them, help with moving furniture or help preparing for the changing seasons.
