Our Vision
The association was founded on the dying wish of the father of the founder; James Henry Schneider or "Jim' for everyone to have good, healthy food to eat and to have a better life than what he had growing up. The core of these wishes were food security for everyone, so that no one else can say that a Mayo and butter sandwich is a real sandwich, also that those who need help with cleaning or with daily tasks that are a little too difficult for those with physical or psychological disabilities or other disabilities without belittling, judgement or scorn.
Our Goal
The goal of the Prost Services Association is Food security and Quality of life for Seniors, people with disabilities and low-income that live within the Calgary area. With steady growth, a helping hand and hard work we aim to improve the quality of life within the area and to expand to help the rest of Canada and those who need it the most.
Our Vision for the Future
Our vision for the future is for happy and interconnected communities all across Canada. Communities where children, seniors have food security and a quality of life truly encourages people to build and live a happy, stronger and fulfilling life and advance forward stronger from these difficult years.
